Supply Chain Case Competition (Organized by ISCEA Ptak Prize)
ISCEA Student Chapter Members are encouraged to participate at the Annual Supply Chain Case Competition in your Country.
The event starts with a networking reception on Friday (4:00PM) and ends after the Awards Presentation on Saturday around 9:00PM. At the end of the Networking Session on Friday (8:00PM), the ISCEA Student Chapter members will be presented a case, dealing with a supply chain operations issue in Manufacturing, Service, Health Care, Government, Education, Banking or other industry. ISCEA Student Member teams (3-8 member teams) are expected to produce a 5 to 8 page paper with an outline of their recommendations to solve the case and PowerPoint slides to use in a 10 minute presentation by 10:30AM Saturday morning. Presentations will start at 11:00AM Saturday and end by 4:00PM. Award Presentation that brings judges, students, corporate sponsors, and participants together for a dinner banquet will starts at 5:00PM Saturday and end around 9:00PM. (Optional After Party will take place Saturday night)
Top 10 winners will leave the Competition with Cash Prizes. In addition to Cash Prizes, each winner will be given a Ptak Prize Winner Medallion, and a voucher to take the CSCM exam free of charge. Also the winners can attend the ISCEA University Chapter Leadership Congress Free of Charge and will be able to mention the title, "ISCEA Ptak Prize Recipient" for life.
